NEW Rooted Turquoise Necklace

Often times what lies beneath the surface is even more beautiful and vast than what has pushed its way through the earth. This is a representation of the beauty of symbiosis, beneath the surface, where plants and trees and fungi and mushrooms all communicate with each other in their own, beautiful rooty language. 

This Rooted Necklace is made with a piece of bright blue Turquoise, a shade between a robins egg and sea foam. The turquoise has been organically shaped. At the tapered end, there is a piece of pure silver with a botanical design, the 'root' of the necklace. This part of the necklace has been oxidized* to enhance the texture. There is a simple ring bail that is strung on 18" of our delicate sterling silver chain. It is finished with a lobster clasp at the back.

* Please note that oxidized sterling silver is still sterling silver. It just has a darkening patina that gives the jewelry a vintage look. Wear can happen over time but can be protected with proper care.
