NEW Orion Nebula Necklace

I have spent a lot of evenings out with my husband, who has captured an interest in night photography, specifically of the sky. This leaves me with lots of time to be still, listen and do some wondering. I think a lot about the vastness of the universe and the beauty that is so far out there that cannot be captured by my eyes or by my husbands camera. His interest has peaked mine and I have been looking at a lot of telescopic camera images of different things out there in deep space. Images of nebulas just take my breath away...

This insane fire Opal reminds me of The Orion Nebula. The colors, the shape, the empty space. Even the silver on the outside of the stone has been created to look like suspended gasses in the universe. Still images do not capture the insane fire of the Opal. The pendant is just under 2" in length and it has been strung on a thick sterling silver chain. The chain is 18" in length and is finished at the back with a lobster clasp.
