Spore Peridot Post Earrings

I don’t know if you know this about me, but I am an avid mushroom forager. This year was setting up to be something great, but things are weird in the woods. I have seen mushrooms in person that I have up until now only seen in books, arrived at my spots to see no mushrooms in site, seen mushrooms growing out of their ‘usual’ season. It makes me wonder what is going on underneath the ground or what the spores are doing as they float within the forest. Have the grounds been too ravaged by floodwaters? Has there not been enough rain? Too much? Too hot? I sometimes daydream about the microscopic things of this world, like mushroom spores. I am sure this is not what a mushroom spore looks like, but this is what they look like in my minds eye! Peridot in sterling silver.
