NEW Swelter Sunstone and Opal Stacking Ring Set

The inspiration behind my work is not always warm and fuzzy but a recognition of what is happening in the world around me. Currently there are so many fires blazing across the US and there seem to be heat records breaking daily. This ring is a reflection of these occurrences. The smoke creating a veil around us, reddening the sun and tucking the hills and mountains into its opaque cloak. The Sterling Opal, smooth, round and light peach reminds me of the haze infused atmosphere and the Sunstone, saturated blood orange in hue with angular facets on its face, capture how the heat makes me feel. The picture may not capture it, but there are pieces of mica within that create a shimmering effect. This stack is a set of three rings: A Plume band with Sunstone, a hammered band with a Sterling Opal** and a plain Bubble band.
